As a family-owned business with deep experience in plastic injection and design, Fusion Design LLC started as a small production facility with a passion for innovation. Over the years, we’ve combined that passion with a commitment to value, refining our processes to deliver high-quality slides, clogs, slippers, and seasonal footwear that meet the needs of customers around the world.

Our Story
Founded in 2003 EC by the visionary Ethiopian entrepreneur Mr. Tenkir, our company began as a humble effort to survive. Coming from a family with very limited means, Mr. Tenkir started selling shoes and clothes on the streets to support his loved ones. What began as a small hustle soon grew into a passion—and then into a purpose.
Through hard work, resilience, and an unshakable belief in better days, Mr. Tenkir transformed his small business into a thriving shoe manufacturing company that now provides job opportunities to thousands across Ethiopia. His journey is a true testament to what ambition and determination can achieve.
Today, Mr. Tenkir, joined by his son, is determined to take the company to new heights by expanding into international markets and showcasing Ethiopian craftsmanship to the world

At Aura by Fusion Design, we proudly source our products directly from Tenkir Shoes Manufacturing — one of the largest and most advanced EVA shoe manufacturer in Ethiopia. This direct partnership allows us to ensure consistent product quality, competitive pricing, and reliable supply for our retail and wholesale partners.
Tenkir’s state-of-the-art facility specializes in high-volume EVA footwear production, giving Aura the ability to scale quickly while maintaining full control over design, materials, and delivery timelines. By working directly with the source, we eliminate unnecessary middlemen — passing the value and efficiency directly on to our customers.
